Default custom cam with dart 225 heads

i am getting a custom cam 242/.610 248/.615 lsa 110 and going with darts 225 heads, i have a forged 347 with diamond -2cc nitrous pistons, does anyone of the gurus with heads know if i will have a problem with this setup as far as piston to valve clearence, i plan on upgrading darts valve springs with a dual spring. i already have the boltons and 9 inch ford with 4.11's to go with this setup.

I would say so. My cam too is a custom grind around .243/.618 on a 110LSA and I have ET 215's. Even with the 11* of valve angle, I still have to flycut.

Ummm his are already flycut
with diamond -2cc nitrous pistons
Only thing you can do is measure, but I wouldn't expect it to be a issue.

The cam seems to have very little lift. If you are going big, throwing emissions and idle to the wind, why not add some lift? You can get alot in an LSK lobe or in a solid lobe.

Not having lift is giving up quite a bit.

True but going through springs every 3 weeks instead of 3 months might not be too fun. Besides the T rex with less lift works great.
Those LKS lobes are extreemly aggressive, nice but aggressive.
I would say that with that much duration and the LSK lobes the lift would be more then most of us would want to have to deal with.

I believe you will be okay with the valve relives in the pistons.
I would personially rather see a set of ETP's go on your car for the most power but I understand the darts are cheeper.

thanks guys i wanted something as close to the t-rex as i could get , and yeah the budget only allows for a set of darts but i do pretty good work with hand porting so i plan on working my magic on the darts once they arrive. i have read alot of the t-rex and it sounds what i am looking for in a cam but haven't read enough of how it performs with good flowing heads, i haven't followed it enough to see how often the valve springs need to be changed. i plan on installing the patriot duals once i fininish the hand porting. anyone have any suggestions on a proven cam to get me to my 460rwhp goal.
