Contact Bob at Exotic Performance Plus. He is a member of this forum.
He did a superb job on a customer's STS system, and can fill you in on all its strengths and shortcomings.
I have an STS, but I am currently embroiled in a debate on how to get a driver's side SFC to work (currently it does not fit).
There are lots of threads on the STS subject as well, both here and at LS1.com.
Here is a good to start with:

If you are lowered or a tad bit worried about having your turbo out and open, than i wouldnt go STS, There are many people happy with there sts it seems but for the competing price of GMR and whats i nthere kit and front mount, id go with the GMR, i am once i am ready to order, but im lowered 2 inches with SFC's so that made my choice a lot easier.
