heads ?.?....
Okay so I got a small cam in my car TR 230/224 .575/.563 111LSA but its not making the power that I thought it would. Need some good ideas what heads to go with. AFR, Dart, LS6 Stage1,2,3, What do you all thing would wake the cam up a little bit more.

what up...well looking at your sig, it looks like you should ditch the flowmaster exhaust, and you still need an ls6 intake, and a pulley and a throttle body. i would say get all those done, and probably get your fbody retuned some where else....that cam with those mods you should be at over 380ish rwhp...people with lil 224/224 cams are putting down 380rwhp stock heads...

I know there are a few other mods that I need to get done and yeah the flowmaster is restrictive but the cutout is always open, so that should kill it to much planning on porting or getting port TB in the next couple of weeks.

My cam's a little smaller. I'm going with a PP Stage II ported 243 LS6 casting with .650 double springs and 1.8 roller rockers.

With all the people upgrading heads there are some good deals on the older versions of the 5.3 heads and ls6 heads. You could pick up a used stage two head and still have money left over for a ls6 intake and long tube headers.

Since when is a TR230 a small cam?
LS6 intake is crucial.
Heads; consult the plethora of 243 castings being sold for peanuts by Patriot, Texas Speed and Livernois.

Mac Mids and Y w a TR230 is a bad combo. The TR230 with it's valve events requires as free flowing exhaust as you can get. LT's, 3" ORY w Merge, LS6 intake will bump you an easy 30 rwhp. PTB & ASP will also help. A well setup H/C TR230 should knock on the door of 440rwhp. Add more with a Fast90 and TB.
