Default Intake Manifold Help

Heres the deal,

Now that i got the full exhaust that i want im going to go with a new intake manifold as my next mod. However ive run into a snag... Im currently deciding between a 78mm intake and a 90mm... if i go with the 78 im going to go with the slp LS6 manifold (as of now, any suggestions on that?) and if i go 90 im obviously going to go with the LSX.

How much of an advantage hp wise will i get by going with the 90mm set up? are there any other special things id need other than a new throttle body?

You planning on keeping the stock internals?

People on here have had good success with the FAST setup on a relitively stock car. But IMO its a bit overkill especially since it will run you over a grand.

I say keep it basic and go with the LS6.

From all of my research so far, you can make more power by buying the $300 LS6 intake and spending the $600 that you saved on a cam swap.

Go with the LS6. I just got mine on yesterday, and theres a noticeable difference. I just need to port my tb. The FAST setup is just too expensive IMO unless you have radical mods (forged internals, h/c, etc).

Go with the LS6 manifold, port your TB, then like CobraKiller said use the $600 you saved on a cam swp.
