shined interior+installed pro 5.0/LSS
just installed the pro 5.0 with LSS, so i decided it was time to shine up the interior and take some pics. i usually buy the armorall leather protectant but i was never really satisfied with the shine. plus it felt greasy and hair, dust, and dirt always seemed to cling to my dash. today i used meguiars nxt generation cockpit shine/interior protectant for the first time and i was very impressed! my leather is very shinny and is not greasy feeling at all. i hope it lasts as long as the armorall products. just thought i would share some pics.

00firebird,
i never tried aerospace. may have to pick that up next time.
ninetres,
yea, i love the LSS. it is short as hell but it is so easy to shift and very comfortable. the shifter is in neutral just to let you guys know. i had the ripper but tried out a friends 5.0 and bought one immediately after.
Louie83,
i was about to go with UMI, but i decided to go with the combo from afterthoughtsauto. may still pick one up later just to try out.

I use Blue Magic (brown bottles). They have a cleaner and conditioner that make the seats feel...well...supple, lol. It actually makes the seats puff up a little, like the leather is tighter. Works awesome. I'm not a big fan of the shiny leather look.
You may also want to try Mothers Plastic Protectant. Gives a nice satin look with no grease and it smells nice.
Nice detail job though.

AHH..
No offense but i hate shiney interiors!! it just screams "Plastic!!" a nice matte finish reduces all glare and makes it look better imo.
I wonder what started the whole... "lets make the interior shiney plastic" trend. Look at Audi, the industry standard for interiors, nope.. no shiney plastic and it looks very $$.
The last thing i want to do is make the crappy plastic stand out more! And i hate having the dirt stick to the greasy stuff and getting it on my hands when i touch somthing.
(P.S. Im sorry if i offend anyone, this is just my opinion)

no offense taken at all, i agree completely. i hate the greasy feeling which dirt and dust sticks to but i think our interiors look better with a little shine compared to a dry look. thats why i quit using armorall a long time ago. nxt stuff is a great compromise in my opinion. next im going to try blue magic, hopefully it will make my interior supple.

I use Vynlex by Lexol. I think its much better than Armorall. Gives a nice matte~almost shiny look. Not greasy on your hands and dirt doesnt stick like it does with armorall or some of that other stuff. For your leather, pick up Lexol Leather cleaner and the conditioner. Use the cleaner first which should take some time. You'd be surprised by how much dirt it brings out then use the conditioner. You dont dont have to clean it every week. Maybe once a month, depending on what you wear alot. I work on jets so I sometimes have all kinds of **** on me and dont have covers. But the conditioner gives it nice soft "supple" feel.
