Default qtp vs edelbrock fully welded lt headers w/ ti- tech coating

i am thinking about getting some headers here soon and i need your guys opinions on which ones i should go with. i am either thinking of the qtps or the edelbrock fully welded lt's w/ the ti-tech coating. also would a qtp ory-pipe with cutout fit the edelbrocks?

Its up to you if you want to spend the money for qtp's which are a good deal or save some money and go with the Edelbrocks which after putting my Merge collector headers on are a great deal.
HP is going to be about the same and the ti tech coating looks really nice. I have no clue about the y pipe but I have a cutout in my I-pipe right behind the y .

Either will be great . It's up to you.
Also, the Edelborcks have a 3.5" collector, so Mufflex/QTP Y-pipe fitment would have to be fabricated.

i was on sdpc's website and i dont see the merge collectors but i am wondering can you get them already welded on instead of buying them seperately and will the y-pipe work with the merge collectors? also can you get the y-pipe with the ti-tech coating?

There are two set/types of Edelbrock LT's for the LS1. The welded type 1 3/4" LT's and the Edelbrock Race Series LT's stepped from 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" with SLIP ON high velocity merge collectors. SDPC does not show the latter on their website, but it does show the y-pipe. Do a search under edelbrock instead of LS1.

Click on my LS1 sig (photobucket) if you want to see pics of them installed on my Formula.

Slip on merge only come slip on.
The fully welded are your typical collector.

But, I think they include them if you wish to weld them on.
