Default how long can I go with no o2's?

I tried to search but i only found ses light type questions. I want to know how long I can drive without o2's. I just had my headers put on and I wont be able to get it tuned for a bit. Is there anythjing I should be concerned about?

If you had a really good open loop tune then you could
go without them, indefinitely. Leaving them in, but bent,
is actually the worst of all worlds (for idle / low cruise,
false trimming can be worse than no trimming at all).
But open loop tunes need a fair bit of tweaking of more
stuff, to make them play well across weather and so on.
You may find your tune drifts as the car (mis)learns to
the O2s new behavior w/ headers. Probably see it as
developing an unstable idle and some variable richness
at WOT (as drifting fuel trims jack it).

If the base tune is good then you may be happier with
the O2s out of the picture. Your friendly neighborhood
bunghole sniffing bureaucrat would disagree, of course.

I'm assuming you mean rear 02's? They have no bearing on engine performance and only throw the SES light as the PCM detects a malfunction or missing cat. jimmyblue is dead on on the front 02 situation.

I've been without my rear O2's for almost a year now. No issues or problems whatsoever....besides the SES light. But I can live with that for a few more weeks until I get my tune.

I just flashed my car to stay in open loop for a while when I was deciding what o2's to go with.

I don't see that happening...what does he mean by "burning out" anyway

yes they have rear o2's.

you can run on no o2's if you have a great tune and running open loop. But I think you want to know if you can get by for awhile until you can fix the problem, and the answer would be yes, I just wouldn't drive like an idiot.
