Default What type of oil do you guys use?
I use 10w40 just want to make sure thats ok to use.

10w40 just fine.......i use 10w30 or 5w30.

Mobil 1 5W-40 My best oil results have come from a very heavy 30W to low 40W oils.

i was running Mobil 1 5w30 ..........i just switched to royal purple 5w30

amsoil 10w40 and I have no oil consumption. i was eating up mobil 10w 30 like crazy after the cam but, no problems since the amsoil 10w 40

I run the mobil 0-40, comsumption has been real low with it, and the wear #'s came back good.

I just switched over to this oil from Mobil 1 5w-30 and am very pleased with the increase in oil pressure. When warm in D, idles at 40psi. With 5w30 when warm, it idled at 37-38psi.
