alternator swap info

Default alternator swap info

swapping for a 165 rated alternator when it comes in, anything special I should know about the swap on tha LS1. Or just loosen the tensioner, unbolt and replace.

its pretty easy as long as you have enough space under your car to work with. I had to undue one side of my front sway bar to get it out and the new one in. while I was at it I just took it off. its pretty simple if you know what you are doing.

Make sure to undo the connector ontop of the alt.
