Any HPE guys in here???? Rick???
I got a question that I emailed to HPE directly about this timing setup on this LT1 that is advertised on HPE's site.... this one:
I realize that is a belt drive but what will that whole setup cost and what are the benefits (other than the obvious lower reciprocating weight of losing the chain and vibration of the chain)
Other than the cost of that setup obviously you gotta dump the opti, but did you still use the LT1 waterpump? I can't tell from the pics cuz the motor plate is in the way but the other pics looked like the water inlets were uncovered and useable... What were you using for an ignition system with that timing setup?
I'm contemplating running the LS1 BigStuff 3 setup with a 24x wheel, 8 coils, and a pickup with a standard distributor but I'd like more info on this setup before I make up my mind....

Yeah that's the way it looks.... I'm probably just going to end up keeping my timing cover and double roller chain that way I can use my water pump.... Ignition system uhhh opti, delteq, MSD Pro billet opti, COP setup... I just can't decide... ARGGGHHHHH!!!!!

The best bet is to call them 281-448-1300. As for the picture the water pump is mounted at the front left of the car. like I said best bet is to call and talk with the guys
