Default d1sc procharger

Really Close Into Purchasing The Ati D1sc Procharger Kit. I Want The 6 Rib Kit With The 2 Intercoolers(7psi). By Looking At My Specs, Should I Be Aware Of Anything Else I Need To Buy Besides The Ati Damper Pulley? Also Should I Be Worried About Any Concerns With Ati? Any Replies Help.

Dont waist your time with the 6 rib. Up grade to the 8 rib setup. Yes you will need a ATI Superdamper to do this though. But worth evry cent! I would make sure to get the larger 4.5" intercoolers as well. I think they are standard as well now.

Thanks guys! The IGJ204-SCI is the eight rib kit with the D-1SC. I see you are in California and the D-1SC is not 50 state certified. I have sold the D-1SC's to customer's in California who said they can take care of it... so I'll leave that up to you. If you are looking for 7 to 8 psi of boost, that can easily be had with the P-1SC, and I can set you up with the larger intercoolers and the eight rib assembly. Give me a call for a great price at 260 244-4808. You can leave a message after hours, and I'll call you back when I get to the shop. Bob

I'd also say look at getting a better fan. I had the single 16" that the kit comes with and then had to upgrade the fan. Melted wires arent fun and the difference is very visible. I went with Spal and am very happy with mine. (i would have love the dual 11's but no space)

and ditto on the 8 rib thing

Bob I talked to you about a week or so ago, about a D1 setup for my Lt1 car( NO pipeing, intercoolers, injecters, etc) and you quoted me a Certain price. I will be calling you in the next few days or beginning of next week to order. Thanks Ben

BTW does anyone have any pics of this fan setup. I assume it would be the same for the LT1's as well?????? I don't know.

I haven't had any heating problems with the ATI supplied fans for the f bodies in our Midwest. It is easy to hook up the fan so that it runs backwards, which may attribute to some of the heating issues that some people have reported. In any case, I don't see where you will have a problem in San Francisco with the ATI supplied fan. I've driven my hugger orange '99 in 90+ degree days with no problems at all. Bob

The ATI D1SC is a tried and true unit that has a lot of backing. I have one myself and could not be happier. Would I like to have a turbo? Well yes but the companies maing them dont seem to last long enough to give me a warm fuzzy.
