Default qtp off road y pipe

I'am getting rid of my mac's soon & switching to qtp long tubes.Are there any problems with there off road y pipe or should I go with a custom y-pipe.

i had alittle hastle with there ory and took it to a muffler shop .they had to cut and re-expand in a couple places and it still hangs alittle lower than i like.for the price i would look elsewhere for the ory but the hvmcs are great !

I can get a good deal on the price one of the board members has one NIB 4 sale.

I'm with slow trap. After the flowmaster collector there is a cone reducer which in theory is designed well, it just isnt compatible with all exhaust systems. My ory also hangs a bit lower then I wanted but the whole setup together sure does flow good. If you get a professional to install it you will be happy. Just dont try and do it yourself when your car is on ramps/jackstands. PITA!

I'am gonna install the headers myself and go to mufflex and let them make a custom y pipe then ,there about an hour from my house.I was trying to save a couple of bucks...if it's a pita (the y pipe) I'll let them deal with it.

pete...you'll be fine with the qtp ory... its very nice actually..with their true merge collector.. the mufflex y is actually very similar.. so either way you'll be ok..

Qtp makes great headers.Go with a custom ory there's will hang to low.

You need to checkout one of the board member ( SLP9723) set up for a customize Y-Pipe.

I think that you should take the clearance thing into consideration...Not saying that you arent, but it will be the part that is a PITA on down the road. literally.
