Default How to remove driveshaft?...

I got the car up on jackstands and unbolted the u joint in the rear. I have never pulled a driveshaft before, so does it just slide towards the back out of the tranny? I know this is probably a stupid question, but everyone has got to learn and start somewhere. Thanks.

yes bro just use a screw driver to pry on the driveshaft forward(toward tranny) and it should be able to pull it out

Do yourself a favor, and mark your splines. Also, make note of your U-joints. You'll notice that they are installed the same way front and rear. So just make sure it goes back together this way, so you avoid any chance of vibration down the road.

Just mark your splines, make a mental note of the way it looks.

You'll be good to go, it's easy.
