My guess would be your gonna see somewhere between 305-315 rwhp on the car. But you never really know, sometimes you get a beast and sometimes you get one that needs modded before it wakes up.

It would depend on the type of dyno more than anything. Personally from the results I've seen on the web the LS1's seem fairly consistant.

Well assuming when you say stock you actually mean STOCK, lol.

Different dyno's derive bhp different, thus you will see a lot of different numbers for power. There are also different standards and correction factors also which only make it more confusing.

If you car is running good then it should make 290-300rwhp on a Mustang Dyno or similar corrected to SAE.

On a DynoJet Dyno you are more likely to see 300-310rwhp, and maybe even as high as 320rwhp if it's STD and not SAE. This is because a Dynojet is a non load bearing dyno and works differently to load bearing dynos like the Mustang dyno.

So don't worry too much about the actual number. 292rwhp on a Mustang Dyno is more impressive than 305rwhp on a Dynojet.

Post back you results, mind.

Very good input there!

Also the dyno numbers will vary from day to day. The weather is a factor, even though the Dyno is supposed to correct for hot humid days it will still show less.
Tire pressure is another subject, make sure your tires are inflated correctly.

Peace,
Craig.

well my 2000 put down 310rwhp, a '01 has the LS6 intake manifold so somewhere between 310-320rwhp, but remember dyno's don't run down the track.

I hopped in my SS after I sold my 93 prelude with a JDM H22 puttin down 197whp. Good enough for a high 13 (boat anchor of a honda I might add), and good enough to laugh at now that I have an LS1 from now on!

BUT I WILL ADD: I dream of having a newer prelude (like yours) for my daily commuter, and my camaro in my garage to wipe with diapers every night, and drive on those mostly sunny Sunday mornings!!! We are on the same boat I think

Just be careful. I've known a couple guys who went from puny FWD cars to strong RWD cars and one kissed a tree, one a guard rail, and the other accidentally did a doughnut in the middle of an intersection in the rain and shortly there after sold the car. So learn to drive it before you actually drive it
