If you are getting some kind of deal go for it. If not, go bigger. I put an SS3600 in last year and love it. I have the Hot cam with 3.73 gears. It will pull the tires off the ground, it hits so hard. Your cam is bigger, but I bet it will feel like mine with the 3000 behind it. It is probably not the absolute best converter for your set up, but it will be a fun car with it in there.

You have any track times on your setup?

I run a cc306 with a 3500- 3800 TCI super street fighter and a 4.10 gear. It is alot smaller than the old one that I had in the race car (a 5500), but it does feel good when it pulls harder on the big end.
