You can tap into the fitting above the oil filter for both,
to install sending units, unless you're trying to use the
stock sensor outputs to the pcm, in which case I have no idea.

forgot to ask.. are there holes up there that are plugged? so all i would do is remove the plug, put in the autometer sending unit and that takes care of that part?

no you have to drill and tap that hole. Also becareful if you have headers. You can also T off of the stock location on the top of the block, behind the intake.

If you look above the filter the piece to drill and tap is held with two bolts.
It's really easy to remove and do. In reality probably easier then putting a
'T' behind the intake.

I drilled and tapped the oil diverter plate above the oil filter and it came out pretty good. It's really easy to do, just remove the two 10mm bolts holding the plate, drill a hole at the top (21/64" drill bit) and use a 1/8" 27 NPT fine thread tap. Then, just screw the sending unit in there and you're done. Be sure to clean out all the aluminum shavings after you're done drilling and taping the threads.

The tap drill size for 1/8-27 NPT is the letter "R" drill (0.339" diameter).

When you tap the fixture be sure not to tap any deeper than 6 to 7 full threads from the top of the tap. Pipe taps are tapered and if you tap it too deep the threads won't seal (it will leak).
