Default LS2 intake manifold

i just got hit up to buy a ls2 intake manifold and throttle body, has anyone ever put these on an LS1??? i think they told me its 80mm which would be bigger then the ls6 manifold, anyone have any ideas or sugguestions, is there much hp gain with the ls2 manifold, throttle body?

Its a 90mm, and people have (amazingly) LOST power with these over the LS6. The LS2 throttle body is also electronic, whereas the LS1 TB is cable driven.

can the ls2 tb be switched over to cable ?

You might find it through a search but I remember a post where one of the sponsors said that a ported LS2 intake actually outflowed a ported FAST intake.

It seems like whatever it is that makes the LS2 intakeflow less than the LS6 can be fixed with porting.

thats what i plan on doing, i am tryin to figure out my options for bolting up a tb onto the intake since a ls2 has 4 bolts and the ls1/ls6 has 3
