I broke the HVAC vaccum line that goes into the back of the intake manifold. Nothing will blow out of the top vents. Everything comes out of the bottom. Now is this a direct correlation between the two, or is it something else. If it is, which I'm sure it is, what is part number and how easy is it to fix it? Thanks in advance.

Yep, sounds like vacuum line :) http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=359884

I think 12186372 might be the part number - Heater & AC Control Vacuum Tank Hose (98-02). Not sure, though.

Thanks, I just got my car re-tuned with it broken. I hope it didn't mess anything up. I'm just in a terrible mood right now because I have no money. :bang:

Anyone know how this vaccum leak would have affected my tune. Do I just need to reset the pcm and be fine. The car seems jerky between shifts.

Any vacuum leak is a problem. It will effect the driveability of the car through out the RPM range except at WOT when there is no vacuum. Recheck the A/F ratios at least.

Well I'm fine then. I already had a good tune in my car and this recent tune was only a WOT tune since I had already had the driveability issues worked out. I fixed the vaccum leak (air works now) and disconnected the battery for about 30 minutes or so. Idle relearn and off to driving. Seems to drive a little bit better. Will know once I put a few miles on it though. It always drives a little rough after the pcm has been reset.
