Default O-ringing questions for boosted application 347

Ok, getting ready to get a low compression 347 for a turbo car. Questions came up on o-ringing the block. Whats the benefits, if any (I know the oring sealing, but w/ gasket technology wondering if this is still valid)? What boost is o-ringing recommended? And finally, who/where to get the gaskets and anything special other than this?

I had my heads (not the block) o-ringed.

Sounds like a lot of folks on here are running decent levels of boost (10-15 psi) without o-rings.

The thing I haven't figured out, is if you're stuck with only graphite gaskets once you o-ring. I've heard some say you can't run mls gaskets, and some say you can.

i oringed my iron block but didn't machine a reciver groove on the head.
i tried a copper gasket but it kept mixing oil in the coolant ( but no coolant in the oil) , so i switched to felpro graphite gaskets ( regular off the shelf replacements) and love it! i run 16-17 psi and a 150 shot on top of that without any problems!
