Is this Head swap worthwhile
Is this Head swap worthwhile on a C5.
Thinking of swapping the LS1 head for a stock LS6 Head and leaving the stock LS1 cam, the magnachager is pushing 6.5 psi currently and I would expect this to drop with the LS6 heads, and perhaps mill .020 for a 11:1 CR. I have a functioning alcohol setup to support the higher compression (I hope). I can also tune with the On-board Wideband and LS1Edit.
So is this a good idea or not?

If you want more power with the Maggie pulley it down with an RR pulley. Cool it with an ECS meth kit. If you get belt slip with the small pulley then upgrade to the ECS 8 rib kit.

I would just like to here from someone that has swaped the heads only to know if there is any significant improvement.
like; power, fuel economy, detonation, etc.
