will 275/40 17's fit 17x10.5 wheels or 18x9.5 wheels?? thanks

275/40ZR17 is ideal on a 17" x 9" or 9.5" wheel but will fit larger rims, just look silly, being narrower than the wheel.

A 275/35ZR18 is perfect fro a 18" x 9.5" wheel.

I have 265 on a 9.5 wheel and they still look sort of funny on the wheel. But the 275 will definitely fit.
