Default newb intake ?'s

i've looked everywhere and cant seem to find the size of the ls6 intake (by this, i mean 85mm, 90mm, etc.) i want a fast 90 but am trying to save a few bux.

if the intake is smaller than 90mm, will a 90mm tb such as the N.W. work with it. thanks in advance.

The LS6 intake is either 75mm or 78mm, I'm sure another member will chime in with an exact figure.

The 90mm TBs will not work because they mount with 5 bolts, whereas the stocker (and 78mm FAST) throttle body mounts with 3.

I've seen a post by Nick Williams describing how to use his throttle body on a 3 bolt intake. Search his username (Nick Williams) for results.

Good luck newbie!

I've read of alot of people running the 90 on a 346 with a H/C setup with nice gains. If your going with a 408 the fast 90 would be the best power making choice.

Agreed, as far as 78 is concerned, that is up for debate, but I like mine, and burst panels were a nice bonus. Plus port matching is easlily done by way of the 3 piece set up
