Default egr question

i have a egr question ...as you all know l just purchased a ls1 car.....i dont really know that much about the egr.......anyways i plan on sending my pcm to pcmforless....and on the ordering sheet it asks if the egr has been removed....how will i know if it has or not???? keep in mind ,the car has mac mid length headers...i read that the 2000 model ls1s (for mac mids only) you have to remove the egr or get some tubing off a 98/99 ls1..but im not really that sure about that...

Is there anything bolted to the front of the passenger side head, pipe going into the front of the intake? EGR also connects under the passenger side exhaust manifold.

Look at egr pipe replacement located here http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...sity/index.htm.

Should allow you to determine if yours still has its egr or not.
