Default Innaccurate AFR with cats?

In planning to install a WBO2, I got to thinking about this. If you go to the dyno where they pull the O2 reading from the tailpipe, wouldn't the recorded AFR be leaner than the actual AFR due to the cats burning off some of the excess fuel? Obviously, this isn't a problem for most folks who ditch their cats, but I was just curious if anyone has run into this before.

At WOT the cats don't have a prayer of scrubbing down
the gas stream. Using the WBO2 for street tuning though,
the cats load & unload stuff from their surface and mess
the readings around, some. Before the stock cats is not an
option though. Probably just have to live with, deal with
any inaccuracy from putting it in the I-pipe. You don't
want it too hot.

I'd worry more about fresh air skewing the tailpipe mount
from the back, more. You have to have it way up in there.
