Default Best Quiet Muffler

Hello everyone, I need to know what muffler is the quietest. The guy who built my motor told me to go with the Dynomax. Since I cammed and jethot my 2000 SS, the flowmaster is very load. I want something that will not ring my ears. Thanks

i think that the best way to go is with a magnaflow because i have pretty much the same set up on my TA and i never have a problem with mine it's not to loud in the idle possision or in the low rpm range. and when you tromp on it it gives that nice straight flow through sound and not that loud pitch noise that the flowmaster gives you.

Hooker - one of the cheapest catbacks out there. and the aerochamber muffler flows really well. Very quiet on my car a cam (TR230), LT's, and cats. The cats can probably account for some of the quietness, but the muffler is really tame sounding until you drop the hammer. It's got a very smooth note as well.

dynomax ultra flow welded mufflers hands down. least inside noise of any of the mufflers.
hooker aerochamber is a close 2nd, if not a tie, IMO.
