Default Diff Swap

Hi all,

I have a diff swap question. I have a line on a complete 10 bolt out of a 2002 ss. It has a torsen diff and 3.42 gears with less than 2500 miles on it.

I want to put it into my 00 a4 Z28.

Are there going to be any interchange issues? The reason I am looking for an assembly is because I had a side bearing fail and spin in the case. I replaced the necessary bearings and been driving on borrowed time. (I repaired it at 10700 miles, now I have 122000 miles on the car - still get 24mpg hwy)

thanks in advance,

Doug

The only difference you will run into is whether it has a 4 channel or 3 channel abs setup. You need to match what you are running now. And also your speedometer will be incorrect but can be adjusted if you have a way to adjust the computer.
