Questions about Spec II in LT1
I have successfully(hopefully) installed the Spec II clutch in my 97 T/A. I have some concerns/questions.
1) When in reverse if I let off the clutch a little to much tranny shakes very bad! If I am not lazy and work it right it's smooth. Is this normal in the break in period?
2) Lots of chatter in 3rd in 4th gear.....is this normal with high performance clutches? Will it go away once it starts breaking in?
No other problems besides that really

The spec 2 in my lt1 has never had any chatter, the spec 3 in my ls1 will rattle your
teeth out.I think its a function of how flat the clutch and pressure plate are.I pulled
the disc out of my spec 3 and mounted it in a lathe to check for straightness and it
wobbled like an old drunk.I staightened the disc as best I could an reinstalled it with
a big reduction in chatter.
