header question
just curious, i have done the free ram air mod, smooth bellow and im about to do pacesetters minus cats, thats all ive done to the car and i was wondering what kind of numbers i could expect from this. hp and track time, its a convertable z28 ls1. i dont think its worth 500 dollars to get it dyno'd just to see 300 horses or somethin thats a waste, so if you have been the same route im going with just a lid, ram air, headers, no cats, and smooth bellows what where your numbers???? i have a tsp rumber kit so it will be flowin cause i took the resonator out of it so its straight piped.

With headers and a tune you will see about 20 hp to the rear wheels. It took me to mid 12's (gears helped alot too). My #s are in my sig As far as motor mods I'm similar to you. Trus me its worth it to get headers. Especially if you plan to do other mods later. Just my .02.

I dynoed like 342 or so with that untuned on a mustang dyno also. I did 322hp/344rwtq completely stock.

you might want some type of muffler there with long tubes and ory.. especially if your town has a noise ordinance... you could just get a cut out if you really wanted it to be that loud and flow well bc after a couple of fines you could have payed for a cutout, and itll still be really loud with a muffler...
