Default PLEASE HELP oil pressure sensor busted!

Its leaking everywhere right behind the manifold, i can't even drive it! what tools do i need to get it off to replace it? can i just use sealant to patch the leak?

there is a special sockect to get it off. you might be able to use a regular socket but not sure of the size

just use an open ended wrench. It will be hard becuase it is so far back there so good luck.

I do believe the socket is like 1 1/16" or something. Not really special. If you can find a deep well in the right size it will fit. I found the "special" socket at the local wholesale place. AC DELCO brand w/ lifetime warranty

yeah, just go to a part store and get the DEEP oil pressure switch socket for both 1" and 1 1/16". it took me all of one minute to take it off and that includes taking the socket out of the packaging.

If you can't find a socket, just take off the EGR valve it makes it easier to get to.
