Default 9" Center Sections

I am looking into buying a moser 9" from one of our sponsors for $950, because i am on a budget and my goal of 400rwhp tells me that i will waste money if i drop the other $1500 just on the moser center. Who builds a decent center section around here? I want 31 spline, detroit locker, 4.11s, 1330 or 1350 yoke. I thought i had a guy to build one for $650, but now hes banned. Who would offer a package deal with a "house" 3rd member?

go with a 12 bolt cause the 9 in is going to rob hp. with 400 rwhp all you need is a 12 bolt. that is my 2cents.

I thought the same thing, until I heard about so many guys getting a lot of whine, and such after going with a 12 bolt instead of a 9". I say go with the 9" and forget about it. I went with DLS too, and Scott was great.

I've also heard that moser doesnt know how to set up gears properly. You would think that with all those tools there at their disposal that there wouldnt be a single complaint about things like ring gears not being bolted in but finger tight. I dont want to have to take a rear end to someone and pay to have it set up after i just dropped almost 2.5k on one. Rediculous.
