Default Vortech question for the experts

Can you make a S-trim head unit work on an Fbody? Anybody try it?

I'm sure you can but you may have to make a custom bracket or drill out holes on an existing bracket to make it work..

why not go with a kit that is already designed for the fbody like the g trim or go with a rmcr kit and go with a t trim or even betta YSi!

Are you asking if you can make an S-Trim work on the LS1 Vortech kit?

Well I got a Mustang Strim setup just lying around and was wondering if it could be bolted up to an Fbody using different brackets. I don't want to lose the A/C or any other options to do this. I'd run it w/o the intercooler and use meth or 50/50 alc/water. I'd also have to swap over to the straight outlet housing as opposed to the curved one on the Mustang head unit.

Who is rmcr?

Isn't the Ttrim the same physical dimensions as an Strim?

Ok, found RMCR.

S and T are the same physical dimensions, different impeller size and intake side housing openings (mouth).
