How much oil with TA rear end?

Default How much oil with TA rear end?
I changed the oil today and I put, about 3 1/4 qt of oil in it, is it too much?
Was I supposed to fill it up on the hole on the side or the top hole on the cover?

Should take just over 2qts. Looks like you have overfilled it. Just remove the fill plug on the side and let the extra oil run into a pan. Make sure the car is level, and then replace the plug when the oil stops leaking out. Hope this helps.
