Problem after TNT wet kit install..

Default Problem after TNT wet kit install..

Got it all hooked up, the bottle is empty right now also. Goin through the step of testing the system. Tested solenoid, working fine, click when switch is armed and they don't when its not. Tried to test the fuel system, there are no leaks when its running, but the car will not idle correct. The car smells like its getting too much fuel. It will barely idle, very ROUGH, sounds cammed, and if I touch the gas at all, it goes up to like 3k rpms instantly and then will slowly go back down. It almost seems like the system is spraying fuel in, but not sure. Anyone have any ideas?

The fuel solenoid might be letting fuel in. Try to take apart the solenoid and see if there is any junk on the plunger, or if it's damaged.

Disconnect the fuel line that goes to the solenoid and plug the fuel rail, then give it a shot. That would bypass the fuel solenoid, so if you still have the same problem at idle, you know its not the fuel noid.

Simply way to test to see if you got a leaking solenoid is simply to pull the fuel (red) line off both nozzles. If fuel is running out when the kit is not activated you have a leaking solenoid....

I'll try that, pulling the nozzles off and see if its leaking fuel. If its not leaking out the fuel solenoid, what else could it be?

My guess is you are leaking fuel.....

Would a brand new kit come with a leaking solenoid?

It could have simply got some trash under the plunger from the fuel system. Just verify that it is leaking first then call TNT they WILL take care of you, trust me.

I would also look for a possible vaccum leak, but if you have an issue with the sol pm me and I will take care of ya.. Im not sure if I understand the "sol opening question" but if they are not opening when armed, all you need to do is get a test light and start marking off confirmed wires on the diagram until you find the 1 thats not working correctly..Thanks David@TNT

Its not leaking fuel, i unplugged the lines from the nozzles and no fuel was leaking out, and it still did the exact same incredibly rough idle and surging.

David, they do open when armed. If i test the system, arm it, then press the microswitch , the solenoids click they they are supposed to.

Better check for a leak in the intake elbow....Maybe the ring is not fully seated properly letting unmetered air sneak through?

Just checked, its fully seated all the way around. I've gone over my vacuum lines also, and i don't see a leak, maybe i missed something

Did you change your plugs at the same time? Maybe look at the wires if you did.

Nope, didn't change my plugs or wires, did those about a month or 2 ago, and its been running fine until now. This is driving me crazy.
