Default Engine pull - B*tch is stuck!

Need help here if anyone has any advice i would appreciate it.

I have my motor disconnected from everything.

there is plenty of clearance around the motor the only thing in the way is the headers that i can not take out.

The motor will not come out. i have it on the cherry picker. the motor is about 1/2 in to 1 inch out from the tranny but won't go any more ive tried pushing it back in and pulling it out. i fought with it for about 3 hrs trying to pry it out.

im in desprate need of some advice
Thanks
Joe

Is it an M6 if so you need to remove the slave cylinder and pull the clutch fork from the pressure plate thats probably holding you up

yeah take off the 2 nuts holding the slave cylinder on remove the aluminum piece that is sanwiched between the slave cylinder and the bellhousing im sure with the motor slightly out there is pressure against the fork so take you a good prybar and slip the fork out like you were gonna pull it through spot where the slave was attached

the easy way to pull out a motor on an f-body is to lower it throught from under the car with the subframe easyer by far 6 main bolts motor and trans comes out as one then lift the motor off the sub frame

i got it out but it was the slave cyclinder on the clutch that was holding it to the tranny. i took off the slave cyclinder and pulled the fork down and out went the engine.

took apart the bottom end and aparently the car had the oil level sensor replaced at one point in its life because the current one is intact but i found parts of the oil level sensor jammed into the oil pick up along with pieces of metal.

im guessing the oil pump went out when the connecting rods bearings started getting starved for oil and the oil pump picked up the metal which went into the pump because the screen was torn from the plastic part that was jammed into the oil screen.

so the oil pump jammed up and gave up and the rest of the connection rods bearings went to crap.

also something metal got into the #4 cyclinder because the piston and the head are beat to hell

New Question

Should i check and/or replace the new motors (62K) connecting rod sleeves/bearings(not sure which they are called)?

Also should i replace the oil pump.
i saw a melling oil pump that has 25% more volume and 25 psi more than factory pumps?
