No, a "tuneup." I think that just entails replacing plugs and wires and such, but I'm not sure.

generally speaking for most cars your right, speaking on terms of a stock engine setup on a general car, it could involve replacing the air filter, oil & filter, plugs, wires, cap/rotor, checking for error codes off the PCM, blah blah blah. For the non-stock type it can involve the same, plus for example re-charging your K&N, replacing the oh-so-fun Opti crap & rotor if you still have it, tuning the spark & fuel tables on your laptop or letting a shop, setting your valve lash, yada yada yada, you get the idea.

Just to give you an example of how over priced that is, the local pontiac dealer wanted to charge me $300 to install a new set of plug wires. I bought better performing wires for $95, platinum plugs for $3/each and changed everything in under 3 hours (I also have an LT1). Plugs/wires on our cars are tough to get to sometimes, but I think it was worth the $200 to do it myself.

Just pull the Y-pipe and the passenger's side is cake. The driver's side is already decently easy. Note that you will want to do this from under the vehicle.

if you have access to a lift, it is cheaper to do it yourself, if not then $200 for labor isnt out of the norm for the plug change alone since it's not really that quik on these cars
