Default New to transmissions, gotta few questions..

hey guys i have a few questions. my first is this.. in this first pic im showing, what is #1 and #2? and in pic 2 whats the blue hose for and am i missing anything? thanks!

1 is the skip shift solenoid electrical connecter.
2 is the bore wher the speed sensor should reside.
pic 2 blue hose....It is not a trans part but Ill play the game:
Its an air line from your power tool.
Its one of those old line you run over at the gas station to make the"ding"
Its a King Kong jump rope.


Is it an insulated CSC feed line? You don't show where its attached so Ill guess the CSC.

ok cool. are the skip shift and vss on the engine wiring harness or a different harness? here is a pic of where the blue hose connects..




and what is it? what does it do? thanks!

If that first one is on the drivers side or the tranny under the shifter, then its the reverse lock out.

Hose is a vent tube. Yours is not stock. Stock is a hard black plastic tubing line. If you put too much fluid in the tranny, that's where it goes when it gets hot.

or in my case comes in the car through the shifter I really need to get under there and make sure its not blocked.

They'll be on the main harness.
