i heard that the polished weiand intake will make you not get as much hp as the stock plastic ls6 intake so i was wondering if i get my stock ls6 intake jethot coated will it make me lose any hp? i heard the jethot coating actually reduces the temp, if i get my intake jethot coated will i lose hp? i just want a shiny intake lol

The plastic intake doesn't have the thermal mass or the
thermal conductivity and I doubt coating it will buy you
any performance. Probably better off just to shoot your
favorite automotive paint. Seen some nice looking jobs,
I remember one used a silver Mercedes color. Have some
surface prep to do on the rough plastic though, for sure.

you know a jet hot coating is made to keep temperatures contained, which means it could actually keep heat in the intake
