Default TT2 Advice

Ok... Iv'e been waiting to put a set of wheels on my 99 Z28 since, well, 99. I finally have the OK from the family CFO. I decided a while back on the TT2's, based largely on this site's great feedback. Thanks BTW. I have the opportunity to get a set (like new) from a friend at a great price. They are all 17x9.5. I kinda had my heart set though on 17x11's for the rear. I read the pros and cons on being able to rotate the tires, but I'm on my 3rd set of Goodyear Eagles and I have learned 1 thing, I am too lazy to rotate tires anyway. With that said should I wait till spring and get the 11's, or go for the 9.5's. It is not the money, I am wondering if I would be just as happy with 4 -9.5's, or would I regret not getting the "Meat".

dude i think this is all psychological in your head. you seem to know what you get with 11's in the back versus 9.5's in the back. it seems that it comes down to... do you want that look or not?

Just get the 11's out back cause once you get the 9.5's you will always be saying i should have got the 11's...

How much are the 17X9.5's? You can get the staggered set up for under $1000.

11's, no doubt!!! You will kick yourself in the butt everytime you see someone else on here post pics of his car with 11's.

I am really happy with my 11" ZR1's, can't imagine going back to even 10.5's or the like.

Get the 11s. I just put these wheels on my car a week ago and they are awesome! I've got so many compliments on them from my friends and people on this board. If you go with the 9.5s all the way around you'll be later. Here is a link to the thread that I posted up about my rims.

Is your car lowered, or do you plan on lowering in the future?

If so, you're gonna need to do some modification to prevent the tires from rubbing in the rear with the 17x11's, get that 5 lb. sledge ready
