Default how many passes b4 i break my 10 bolt

my 10 bolt rear end has a strange 3.73 ring & pinion, auburn posi and TA girdle. it also has longer ARP wheel studs to accomodate my 15X10 weld wheels and M/T ET street tires in size 26X11.5X15. the rear end only has 20k miles on it because this is all the car has on it. so the ring and pinion only has 12k miles on it because it was put in 12k miles ago.

i will flash stall my 3,500 stall torque converter off the line via the foot brake. i am puttin down 379 rwhp and 453 rwtq thru my built turbo 400. my car is a full weight car so i am guessing that it weighs in at something like 3,700 lbs with me in the car. i have bmr subframe connectors, random tech torque arm, tom byrne motorsports lower control arms and panhard rod.

assuming my 60 foot times are in the 1.6's how many passes do you think i will get b4 the rear end lets go?

my plan is to put in a 12 bolt after it breaks.

hey mine didn't last with street tires and it only had 5000 miles on it and 3 track passes on street tires and then broke 2 pinion teeth and a couple spider teeth. i just ordered my 12 bolt for $2350 but BLOWNSS just got with me today and he has one for sale $1700 and he is in houston tx. that is a great deal and he says it only has 7000 miles on it. hope that will help you out.

A4's tend to be a little softer on them than M6 cars. If you build the rear up a little with an A4 it should last quite a while.

I have around 300 track passes on mine (M6), half of those on DR's and the other half on street tires. I don't launch hard plus my track is not sticky. I still think that I am on borrowed time though.

You never know when, you really should consider getting a 12 bolt in the future though its always a possibilty it could go tommorow or even today

I am considering a 12-bolt or even a 9''. The way I see it though is like this: if it breaks, then I upgrade it and if it doesn't break, happy motoring to me.
