What gears?? I have a T56 viper trans. Im building a twin turbo LS1 (402ci) that will make between 750-850hp. The turbos will be at full boost @ 2000rpm (12lbs) the cam is a Comp. XR265HR 1500-6800rpm. This is not a drag car. Im looking for the best balance beween performance and mpg.

Keep the 3.42s. You wont feel any difference with that much power.

Yes, with fuel injection you will be able to run at 1400 rpm without any problems. I agree that you should keep the 3.42 gears that you already have. With turbos, the 3.42 gear will help to put a load on them. Bob
