Default not your typical ZR1s...

275 17 in front on GM 17x9.5 wheels and 315 17s on correct (deep lug dish) rear 17x11 relplicas (they measured 12 at the tire place) all 4 wheels painted with Artic White DuPont base/clear.

i just thought id be unique, as far as i know im the only one who has 17x11 ZR1s in white on a white car... ive seen a couple of 17x9s and of course the 30th annivesery SS cars and i liked the way they looked so i thought id do it with 17x11s. i think the white really complements the shape of these wheels and im very pleased with the results. what do you guys/gals think

That's a nice setup, but your car REALLY needs to be lowered... You gotta love the 17x11 's though!

yeah, im not a fan of the blacked out lights either. they were really hazy and i thought that id give that VHT tinting spray a try.. didnt turn out so hot, but im not really looking forward to striping and polishing them

the 30th cars were a big insperation... im even wanting to get white leather with houndstooh inserts. i even thought about getting some vinal orange strips so it would look pretty much like a 30th car with LS1 front. i like the way the white wheels look much better than when i had black 10 spoke SS wheels (pics on my cardomain)

Do the interior with houndstooth, fix your headlights, and lower it and you have the perfect white Z. Oh yeah, export tailights would look cool to.

NICE CAR

Looks good. I agree about the smoked lights.
What process did you use to prep and paint? I would like to try this, different color however.

Personally, I love white....wish I would have gotten a white Camaro instead. A very simple color, looks good pretty much all the time, and when accented properly, like in this instance, can be downright breathtaking.

And on another note, this thread actually got me thinking about my wheels. I now have ZR1's on my car and am wondering what white would look like on my car. I'm thinking a clean black car with no badges, black grille, stainless inserts, Corsa w premium tips, would look nice as hell with white ZR1's, black calipers and a few white accents to throw it off, like the white gauges, white HVAC/headlight/shifter insert overlays I just bought. Could be unique.
