Question My Car sucks in 4th---Please Help

Hey guys, ok so here's my problem... let's say "hypathetically speaking" that I am running about 65 or 70 and punch it to the floor, the tranny downshifts to 3rd and I'm haulin ace...but as soon as it shifts in to 4th it seems like I lose half of my power...I get walked on by same mods 6 speeds. What is wrong and how can I fix it?? Any ideas please comment...this bugs me.

By the way, how do I find out what my gear ratio is? I have a 99 TA.

Thanks in advance!
Jacob

Steeper gears, torque converter and a tune. That should help.
