Default Mcleod twin disc owners inside please.....important

Well, I bought the mcleod twin disc clutch, pressure plate, steel flywheel, adjustable master, and 02' slave for my Camaro. Got the clutch and everything in minus the master cylinder. We bled the slave, and the clutch has a stiffer pedal than my Z06 clutch but its not like other heavy duty clutches I have driven. Is this normal? Should it feel "almost stock"?

Also, when I was bleeding the 02' slave it took me FOREVER to bleed it. We did everything textbook as far as bleeding the slave and it wouldn't take. The pedal would stay on the flor- likely culprit is the stock master still being in there.

So basically, I want to know what mcleod twin disc owners have to say about the stiffness of the pedal compred to stock and say a spec 4/5.

Thank you in advance for the replies
Andy

I think my spec4 is softer than my old mcloed. My mcloed felt stiffer than stock after it was installed.
