Well, it used to be
LS1/LS6 water pump (98-02) (AC-Delco #252-781) = 12458934

I thought I had found the updated number to be 89017456 (AC-Delco #251-690), but on looking that up, it says it's only used for the LS2 GTOs, and 12458934 is still supposed to be used for LS1s!

You could just do a Google search for the old number and buy it from the company still selling it under that number, which comes up towards the bottom of the first page of results.

I looked it up at Pace and it says the new PN is 89017593, works at gmpdir too.

Interesting, that part number maps back to the same AC-Delco #251-690 too. However, Pace finally confirms that it is the new one for LS1/LS6 in addition to being for LS2!

a gm one will be better a little, but the autozone one will/should be fine. normally gm stuff is new, and the parts store stuff is normally reman stuff.
