One for the LT1 Faith

I was out at the track this weekend for a t&t and got to see this thing make a pass. Impala Forum

An Impala SS running 9.65 @ 142 with a procharged LT1. Damn

There are only a couple confirmed in the 9s as far as that forum knows, here is a ET list http://dan.esteban.com/impalass/ReturnTopET.asp I would imagine there are a few others whos owners are just not into the whole internet thing so we don't hear about them.

If you look there are some wagons and Fleetwoods mixed in there too both of which carry some extra weight. My Roady wagon owners manual list base curb weight as 4672lbs.
