tci deep trans pan , what filter

Default tci deep trans pan , what filter

it says i don't need an extension but do i need a "deep" style filter or anythin special? if so where do i get the filter?

It will be a gm truck 4l60e filter, I used one with my hughes tranny pan with no problem

You can use the stock filter.The pan has raised humps for the filter to set on.The only way to use a deaper truck filter is to grind the ridges.I've been using mine for a couple of years with the stock filter replacement and cant see grinding the ridges.

I had the deep pand and ground the prongs down to use
the truck filter. Point being that your pickup is now well
below the surface of the juice, so being a pint or two low,
or just cornering like a wild man, will not starve the pickup.
