Overfill...
I finished my Converter install this past weekend...
The damn 20 pin connector was loose, so i had to drop the pan.. The tranny was allmost empty. I added like 7 qts of fluid and took it out for a test.
Since the dipstick tube was all full of fluid on the walls i could not get a clean read on the dipstick. So i let it sit for this 2 days and today i go and check the level..
At cold it was showing a warm fill, but still won't come out with a clean read or i'm just paranoid...
What happens to a overfilled tranny?

An overfilled transmission can be harmful. It could turn out that you are being overly cautious, but it is better safe than sorry with expensive parts like transmissions. You could siphon some fluid with a small diameter tube and remeasure.
