4l80e questions Ok Ive located a 4l80e tranny out of a 92 chevy for cheap. I was going to rebuild it, buy a converter and install it. Would this work? What all would I need for the swap besides the tranny, converter..would I need a new driveshaft and yolks, flexplate or anything? What about tuning and computer wise...what would I do there. Also is it really that heavy, some people are saying it will just slow me down. Im at over 400 now with a good tune, and will soon get heads after the swap and tune so I should be at 430 or so....Im switching from a M6 to an auto, so any help would be appreciated.
