If your 85 is a 4x4 you'll need a trans from another 4x4 rig. They have shorter tailshafts that mate up with the transfer cases if I'm not mistaken.

We'll if you need a two wheel drive one I have one sitting in my garage with 78k on it drives fine, I'd even let you try it out. will swap straight up for a T56

Ryan I'd love too and I'm guessing here at a value of 4-500 for everything maybe less . But I think your going to need it a little sooner than I'm going to be ready for 6speed conversion. If someone wanted to trade a stock T56 setup and a little cash I'd just do it now. I was just fishing to see if you had a T56 laying around your "extra parts bin"
