What kind of rwhp number have people made with a LS series motor in a vette?
We are finishing off a customers vette that at this point is making 825rwhp and 840 ft.lbs
This is a true street car. No tubs, 305/35/18's, pump gas, daily driver. Looks totally stock................from the outside.
Twin turbo TTi Stage X, 408, Dart Heads, Custom Cam, 9:1, Cometics, FAST intake...............
Interesetd to know if any one in Canada wants to race? LOL
Thanks
Patman

Been around the racing scene long enough to know dyno's don't mean squat.
All it tells you is a peak number.
What matters is what she'll do at the track . . . :)
And I'm sure Billy from Speedway would give the car a good run.

Strange how on the Canadian Member Forum there are so many haters, congratulation's to 0to60in3 it takes a lot to get over that 600rwhp hurdle with any car nitrous excluded. Its at that point none of the factory fuel system is enough.
Be sure to post your times come spring and add that little extra it seems all internet numbers seem to have ;)

Yes. 9.70's@140+.
Our old ARE vette was never dynoed on the big pills, but I would estimate it at 900+ RWHP to go 155mph.
Our other car was a 98 camaro that weighed in at 3415lbs, stock suspension and went 168MPH in the 1/4. You do the math
BTW we are also doing that TTX kit on a 03 Z06 with a AFR headed 402 LS2 and we are looking for 850ish also. Good job over there!

Yes. 9.70's@140+.
Actually Dave it ran 9.91 at 141 with the tranny acting up and delaying the shift into 3rd.
This season will be a whole different kettle of fish...

NO SHIT! But this is not a race car.........it's a driver.
Thanks for the positive response.
Just posting some numbers on a cool car that makes 825rwhp on pump gas and will drive anywhere in the world with ease.
Yippee another 9 second car..........on pump gas!

Speedway Billy's car and my car are both street driven, pump gas, go anywhere cars not race cars...yet. Billy, from what I hear, and I will both be coming out faster this season and still street cars.
Congrats on your car, our friend 'boost masters' Z06 will be very similar and making similar horse power, if your in the Toronto area let us know. It would be great to meet at a track and line them up.
